On Friday, March 16, there will be a full scale active shooter training exercise at Troy High School between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. This drill will include the response from local, county and state emergency service agencies. This is a professional development day for the entire district, therefore there is no school at any of our buildings. NO STUDENTS WILL BE PARTICIPATING.
Due to expected inclement weather, dismissal times for the scheduled Early Release Day on Wednesday, March 7 have been moved up by 1 hour. The Troy High School Drama Club will present their spring musical, “Once on This Island” on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
For the second year in a row, Troy High School’s graduation rates are on the rise. The 2017 graduation rates released by the New York State Education Department indicate Troy High School’s graduation rates have increased 3 percent from the previous year and 10 percent from 2015.
