According to NewYorkUpstate.com, Troy High School was ranked among the top 50 public high schools in upstate New York by Niche.com, a neighborhood and school analysis website. In addition, it was ranked among the top ten public high schools in the Albany area for the second year in a row.
Just off the heels of their outstanding first appearance at the National Academic Quiz Tournament in Atlanta, GA, the Troy High School MasterMinds have won the New York State Championship. The team beat schools from Buffalo, Syracuse and Rochester and in some cases by more than twice as many points. Alex Pyle was named the All-Tournament MVP.
On Friday, June 1, Troy High School Principal Joseph Mariano was named Region 5 Administrator of the Year by the Empire State School Administrators’ Association.
