Three THS Students Receive UAlbany Multicultural HS Scholar’s Award

Letter from Superintendent John Carmello: Learning and Transportation Choice Form to be sent by November 16
In a letter dated November 6, Superintendent John Carmello asks parents to begin thinking about their child’s learning model for the rest of the school year. A Learning and Transportation Choice Form will be sent to families by November 16 and parents will have until December 1 to request a change. Only those requesting a change need to complete the form. If your child is continuing with their current model, no action is required.
January Regents Exams Canceled
The January 2021 administration of the High School Regents Examination Program is canceled due to the ongoing COVID–19 pandemic, Interim State Education Commissioner Betty A. Rosa announced today. This cancellation applies to all Regents Examinations that had been scheduled for the January 2021 Regents Examination period. No decisions have been made regarding the June and August 2021 administrations of Regents Examinations or any of the other State assessment programs.

The Family Engagement Survey is conducted in order to assess the current functioning of our schools from the perspective of our families. This survey will take 15 minutes and there should be one survey submitted per household. All submissions are anonymous.
