All Troy families are invited to join us at Carroll Hill School on Wednesday, April 25, at 5:30 p.m. for an evening of light refreshments and conversation about bullying recognition and prevention.
THS to host active shooter training exercise on March 16; No School
On Friday, March 16, there will be a full scale active shooter training exercise at Troy High School between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. This drill will include the response from local, county and state emergency service agencies. This is a professional development day for the entire district, therefore there is no school at any of our buildings. NO STUDENTS WILL BE PARTICIPATING.
Troy students to perform with Albany Symphony Orchestra
On Saturday, March 10, students from all five Troy CSD elementary schools, as well members of the 6th Grade Choir, will perform at the Palace Theater with the Albany Symphony Orchestra. Due to expected inclement weather, dismissal times for the scheduled Early Release Day on Wednesday, March 7 have been moved up by 1 hour. School 2 celebrates Black History Month
As part of Black History Month, School 2 held a panel discussion with local community members about determination and hard work. Students in Grades 3-5 asked the panelists questions about their experiences and how they could make a difference. Students also performed traditional African dance and drumming at today’s BHM assembly.
