School 14 monitor honored for heroism
Latoya Anderson, aka “Coach T,” was recognized at the April 3 Board of Education for her quick thinking and act of heroism. On January 18, Ms. Anderson performed CPR on an unresponsive child, saving her life.

On Saturday, March 9, eight teams from Troy City School District competed in the Region Four Odyssey of the Mind Tournament at Coxsackie-Athens High School. For the third year in a row, the team from School 18 took first place in their division and will be going to the state final tournament. The Troy High School team finished second place in their division and will also advance to the state tournament in Binghamton on March 23.
The Family Engagement Survey is conducted in order to assess the current functioning of our schools from the perspective of our families. This survey will take 15 minutes and there should be one survey submitted per household. All submissions are anonymous.

Troy students in Grades 3 – 6 are invited to attend RPI’s “Exploring Engineering Day” on Saturday, February 9. This FREE half day, hands-on program is intended to help students better understand what engineers and computer scientist do. Please register by December 17 by clicking the link above.
All Troy CSD students and their families are invited to the Fall Family Fest at School 14 this Thursday, October 25 at 5:30 p.m. Costumes encouraged.
