On December 3, residents in the Troy City School District voted in favor of authorizing a $56 million capital project that will include necessary upgrades to nearly every building in the District as well as the purchase of an additional building. The “Troy City School District Building Modernization Project” will be financed without impacting the current tax levy.

Troy, NY — Tuesday, September 17 marked the 13th Annual Dads Take Your Child to School Day, the national movement to encourage father involvement in education. Fathers and significant male caregivers from throughout the Troy City School District brought their children into school, and participated in some school activities.

2019-2020 school supply lists for all five elementary schools and Troy Middle School are now available. Troy High School students should plan on bringing a notebook and pen to school on the first day.

The annual tradition honoring the American Flag took place at School 14 today, Friday, June 14. Students marched in and sang songs, the band played patriotic tunes and some special guests spoke to students about patriotism.

School 14 continues their tradition of raining funds for the Make-A-Wish Northeast New York Foundation. Students collected donations and spare change to donate a total of $1,634!
