Interested in running for the Troy City School District Board of Education? Candidates must submit their nominating petition to the Board Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on April 28. Voters in the Troy City School District will elect three members to the Board of Education this year. Board members serve three-year terms.

March 23 COVID-19 Update: Several individuals test positive

We have been notified that several individuals have tested positive for COVID-19. We are working with the Department of Health to conduct thorough contact tracing. If you are not contacted by either the District or DOH, no further action is needed on your part.

Superintendent Carmello presents Draft 1 of 2021-2022 district budget

During the March 17 Board of Education meeting, Superintendent John Carmello presented Draft 1 of the 2021-2022 school district budget. Currently, the proposed total budget is $116,164,504. This is a 2.21 percent increase and assumes the 1.4 percent tax cap. Carmello stressed that there is still a great deal of uncertainty with the State Budget and federal stimulus funds. Today marks the one-year anniversary of our last day of in-person classes before the COVID-19 shutdown ordered by the Governor.
