2020-2021 school supply lists are now available for students attending in-person instruction in our elementary schools as well as Troy Middle School. High School students are expected to bring a pen and notebook on the first day of classes. Preliminary 2021-2022 plans

Please click the link above to read a letter from Superintendent John Carmello to families. The Troy CSD has shared its preliminary plans for the 2021-2022 school year which includes in-person learning for all students and a layered mitigation approach for COVID-19. Students with medical conditions may be eligible for a remote learning program. These families are asked to complete the remote learning interest survey by August 20.

2021-2022 COVID-19 plan development in process

We understand that many of you are anxiously awaiting news on what the 2021-2022 school year will look like. While school districts were previously advised that COVID-19 guidance from the Governor’s Office and the New York State Department of Health was forthcoming, we have now been notified that no such guidance will be issued. We hope to finalize a plan for our school district as soon as possible.

Public comment open for required documents

A 30-day public comment period is open on the following policy documents: 400 – Public Complaints – no changes;1900 – Parental Involvement – no changes; 1900E1 – Title I Parental Involvement Parent and Family Engagement – School Level Approach; and the 2021-2022 District Safety Plan – no changes. Public Hearing will be on the August 4, 2021 agenda, and items will be adopted on the September 1, 2021 agenda.
