The THS Masterminds team finished second in NYS after going undefeated in the regular season

On June 12, the Troy High School Masterminds team finished their season with a second-place finish in the state finals, after going undefeated in the regular season.
Also this year, the team qualified for the National Academic Quiz Tournaments High School National Championship in Atlanta over Memorial Day weekend, where they placed 209th nationwide and won seven of their 15 matches over two days against the best teams in the country. Demetrios also won the “Freshman Rising Star” award.
